A vehicle may only be returned if a pre-purchase Post Sales Inspection (PSI) has been performed which reveals major discrepancies between the condition report and the actual condition of the vehicle. If the car is sold "As Is", then returns are not possible.

An inspection for a vehicle can be ordered no later than 2 business days before the date of sale of the vehicle, not including today and the day of sale. The service is provided by IAA and Copart Auctions. Inspectors provide a driving assessment, inspect the vehicle inside and out, and take additional photographs. Inspections are carried out by third party companies and auctions do not guarantee the reports provided. Inspection cost is $155 for a passenger vehicle. For large vehicles the inspection is calculated individually and we will contact you before placing your order. You can leave your inspection notes in the field below, but we cannot guarantee that they will be taken into account by the inspector carrying out the order.

Yes, you can.
Please note that in the absence of a title, we can deliver your car to its final destination. Depending on the auction, the seller has a certain amount of time to send the title to the buyer. Please inquire about the terms and conditions of your specific auction if Title is not available.
If the title is not delivered within the specified time frame, the vehicle may be returned to the next auction if the buyer wishes. Additional fees may apply (e.g. Title duplication, storage, late application fees) and are the buyer's responsibility.

Yes, this can happen, but it is rare. Auction workers are subject to human error and may miss some hidden defects. Additionally, auto auctions sell in high volumes, making CR (AutoGrade) errors more likely to occur than traditional retail channels.
To protect your purchase from such errors, we strongly recommend that you carefully check your purchase using our AUTO CHECK service. Additionally, consider having a pre-sale inspection through one of our partners (AIM) and/or a post-sale inspection by PSI provided by the auction company. These services come at a low cost and protect you from damages missed during the initial inspection process.

AS-IS (As Is) is a designation that means a vehicle sold at auction is in the same condition it was found in at auction. No further claims regarding his condition will be accepted.

Even if they are in the listing photos, we cannot guarantee any loose parts. Loose parts are sometimes lost, lost or otherwise missing from insurance auctions. We promise to do our best to ensure delivery of any parts that should come with the vehicle you purchase.

PSI (Post Sale Inspection) is an inspection of a car after the sale. It can be ordered at auction on the day of purchase to check for possible damage or defects to the vehicle that were not documented during the preliminary inspection.
The auction will provide you with a list of damages found during the PSI that can be repaired at the auction, or you can return the vehicle to the auction. Auctions provide a 7 to 14 day PSI inspection guarantee.
The average price for a PSI inspection ranges from approximately $100 to $180, depending on location and warranty period. If the vehicle has already been inspected, auctions typically do not send PSI data to the dealer. The auction will only contact the dealer if additional damage is discovered during PSI.
CAROMOTO strongly recommends investing in PSI to protect your purchase from any errors made during the initial inspection. Purchasing a PSI gives the buyer the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and return it within the warranty period if a discrepancy exists.
